Dear HRHF Supporters,

June is here — and so is a milestone worth pausing on. This month marks the beginning of our fifth year as an organization, and we're stepping into it with full hearts and a full calendar. We're wrapping up a spring season that brought real moments of connection and growth, and launching into what promises to be our busiest, most exciting summer yet — new programs, summer camp, familiar faces, and new ones too. There's a lot to share, and we can't wait to share it with you.

Farm Happenings: Take a peek at what we've been up to at the farm

🏕️ Summer Camp — July 27–31 

Summer camp is one of the most anticipated weeks of the year at HRHF, giving kids a full, immersive farm experience they carry with them long after the week ends. We're thrilled to share that we have a beautiful balance across all three of our age communities — under 8, ages 9–12, and 12 and older — and registration is now closed. Thank you to everyone who signed up. We can't wait for this week!

🌿 Summer Sessions — Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays, June 23 through August 22 

There's still room for new participants to join us this summer. Whether it's a first visit to the farm or a return to familiar ground, summer has a way of opening things up — longer days, the herd at their best, and a pace that invites something deeper. Register here to learn more and get started.

🌱 Coming in July: Lead from the Heart & Farm Forward 

Behind the scenes this June, we've been laying the groundwork for two exciting new programs launching next month — Lead from the Heart, our teen leadership apprenticeship, and Farm Forward, our vocational training program. We are so grateful to United Way of North Central Massachusetts for their support in helping make both of these programs possible. We can't wait to introduce you to both! 

🤝 Community & Leadership

New Partnership — LUK We're excited to welcome LUK, Inc. to the farm this summer! Starting in July, LUK will be bringing youth from their community to HRHF every Friday for a program designed just for them. Welcome to the herd!

🐴  Volunteer Spotlight - Polina

Polina has been a volunteer at HRHF for multiple years and has helped out in many different ways. She began as a greeter and has a special ability to connect with each participant. She expresses curiosity with each participant, and gives them the space and encouragement to share their own stories. Polina can always be seen listening to and cheering on everyone she interacts with. Her willingness to learn more about working with horses sets an example for participants, as well as fellow volunteers. She is not afraid to ask questions, try new things, or practice handling the horses. Polina is an important member of the HRHF family, due to the kindness and cheerful attitude she always brings.

Five Years In. Still Growing.

As we step into our fifth year, we're carrying a lot of gratitude — for the spring season that just closed, for the participants and volunteers who showed up fully, and for a community that keeps choosing to be part of this. The best chapters of High Ridge Harmony Farm are still ahead, and we're so glad you're in them with us.
