December Newsletter

Dear HRHF Supporters

As the holiday season arrives and the crisp winter air settles around us, the spirit of giving and gratitude has swept through the farm. With shorter days and early evenings, we're embracing the cozy warmth of friendship and shared experiences. This month, we celebrate heartwarming programs that brighten the season, highlight our amazing volunteers in the Volunteer Spotlight, and share a "Moments that Matter" story that truly touched our hearts. December is full of gratitude and meaningful moments to cherish together.

Volunteer Spotlight -Lee Wolloff

Lee has been a volunteer since the beginning, before we even opened! Whether he's telling stories about the horses, playing his guitar, or doing a demonstration, he's always a big help on the farm. Full of knowledge and wisdom, Lee always has a fun fact to share with the group. He's the "grandfather" of the farm, and has a special bond with Coco. Lee always adds a little bit of magic to HRHF, especially during the holiday season!

Moments That Matter

Caroline - She was one of our very first participants back in 2022—a quiet observer who wasn't sure of herself yet. Her journey with the horses has helped transform her into a confident leader who now inspires others.

Making a Difference Together

This year, our donors and volunteers have shown up in countless ways to support our farm and herd. From helping update the hay barn with a vapor barrier to decorating our stations with whimsical gnomes who walk on bridges, swing in trees, and keep watch over our activities—your contributions, time, care and creativity have transformed this space. You've donated snacks, hand warmers, and classroom supplies. You've helped us wire the barn so we can have warm water and heat lamps during the cold winter months. We cannot possibly list every single contribution we've received this year, but we can tell you with heartfelt gratitude: we are who we are and we can do what we do because of the support you provide. Thank you for being part of our herd.

How You Can Help: Get Involved

Together, We're Building Something Beautiful

As we close out 2025, we want to thank you for being part of our journey. Your support - whether through volunteering, giving, or sharing our story—has helped us reach more people and create meaningful moments every day. The quieter winter months give us time to reflect on how far we've come, and we're filled with gratitude for this community that keeps the farm thriving. Here's to another year of growth, connection, and transformation.

Happy holidays from all of us at HRHF!

With heartfelt thanks,

Barbara Cudak and the High Ridge Harmony Farm Team
